LOW HEAT OF HYDRATION CEMENT
Low Heat Cement is a special purpose cement used in mass concrete structures such as dams, retaining walls, bridge abutment, raft etc. This type of cement can be effectively used to avoid thermal and shrinkage cracks where the rate of dissipation of heat of hydration from the surface is much lower than that generated under normal circumstances.
